Your machines know more than your office

Vehicles, construction machines and sensors produce data every day. Beyonetix builds the telematics and IoT software that turns that data into proof, invoices and control. If the right device does not exist, we build it, including SIM card, mobile connectivity and operation on servers in Germany.

Overview

The data is there. It just never reaches you.

Operating hours live on a slip of paper in the cab. Only the foreman knows where the compactor is right now. Invoices are based on estimates, and when a customer disputes that a site was cleared, it is one word against the other. The machines already know all of this. Nobody is writing it down.

The usual telematics vendors sell a box for the vehicle and a standard portal to go with it. We do not sell a black box on the vehicle. Beyonetix builds the analytics and the business application around your data: operating hours, location, condition and job assignment land where invoices and dispatch are made. Existing devices, sensors and telematics units connect through the vendor's interface, and current contracts stay in place. Several hundred vehicles and construction machines run in systems we manage.

Where the market has no suitable device, we build it. Beyonetix develops its own hardware from industrial components, for example a refrigerator with RFID tracking built on Liebherr units. A team that goes this deep into hardware understands every third-party box as well. For you that means there is no technical excuse. Devices, SIM cards and mobile connectivity come from us, set up and operated, with the data on servers in Germany.

  • Proof that holds instead of paper slips: every job is documented with GPS, times and photos as a PDF. In a dispute, for example in winter road service, that is your liability record.
  • Correct invoices from real job data: you bill what the machine and the trip log recorded, not what someone estimated. No job goes unbilled.
  • Less downtime through prediction: at a printing press manufacturer the system detects failures around 120 hours in advance. The technician arrives before the machine stops, and that opened up about 5 million euros in service business.
  • Keep your existing hardware: devices and sensors stay in service, current contracts stay in place. You invest in analytics, not in replacement.
  • New revenue from device data: a construction industry client generates 18.5 million euros in additional revenue with failure forecasts and a CO2 balance per job, and saves another 3.7 million.

What we deliver

What we deliver

Custom telematics analytics We build the telematics software around your data, not around a box. You see exactly the numbers you dispatch and bill by, in your own system instead of a box maker's portal.
Vehicles, construction machines, equipment Operating hours, location, condition and job assignment, tracked per machine. Several hundred of them run in systems we manage. The dispatching side is covered by our fleet management software.
Connect existing hardware We connect existing devices, sensors and telematics units through the vendor's interface, and current contracts stay in place. We refine the data streams and integrate third-party systems.
Down to our own hardware Where no suitable device exists on the market, we develop one from industrial components. That is how a refrigerator with RFID tracking built on Liebherr units came to be. The device follows your process, not the other way around.
SIM and connectivity included M2M and IoT SIM cards, devices and mobile connectivity come from us, set up and operated, with servers in Germany. GPS tracking and the trip log keep recording in dead zones and sync automatically, with no data loss.
Data becomes revenue Machine data becomes services your customers pay for: failure forecasts, a CO2 balance per job, maintenance contracts. Our construction industry case study shows the scale: 18.5 million euros in additional revenue.

Frequently asked

Questions about Telematics & IoT

What is telematics?

Telematics combines telecommunications and informatics: a device on the vehicle or machine records location, operating hours and condition and transmits the data over the mobile network to a software system. There it becomes proof of work, invoices and maintenance decisions. Beyonetix develops such telematics software and manages systems covering several hundred vehicles and construction machines.

What is an M2M or IoT SIM card?

An M2M SIM card (machine to machine), also called an IoT SIM card, is a SIM card for devices rather than people: it transmits machine data such as location, operating hours and sensor readings over the mobile network, usually in small volumes on dedicated plans. At Beyonetix, devices, SIM cards and mobile connectivity come together, set up and operated, with servers in Germany.

Do existing devices need to be replaced?

No, replacement is not necessary. We connect existing devices, sensors and telematics units through the respective vendor's interface, and current contracts stay in place. Your investment keeps working, and the data comes together in one business application.

Do you build your own hardware?

Yes, where the market offers no suitable device, Beyonetix develops its own hardware from industrial components. One example is a refrigerator with RFID tracking built on Liebherr units, developed and set up by us and running in daily operation. Hardware development is part of our offering, so your project will not fail for lack of a device.

What does a telematics solution cost?

A telematics solution from Beyonetix has a fixed project price plus a running licence, with operation covered by an SLA. You know the price before the project starts, and the data belongs to you.

Does tracking work in dead zones?

Yes. GPS tracking and the trip log work offline: if the mobile connection drops, the device keeps recording and syncs the data automatically once coverage returns. No record is lost, and the job documentation stays complete.
