For an insurance brokerage with almost 4 million customers and over 5,500 financial advisors, existing contracts were read and processed automatically: historical contract data from a wide variety of formats was structured to quickly offer better terms and alternative proposals.
The challenge
Existing contract data was not used or monetised systematically, even though it held enormous potential for advice and cross-selling.
The wide variety of formats in the existing contracts made automation difficult; the goal was to quickly provide existing-customer data and value-added or alternative offers.
