2017
How it all began
Ayla and Christopher Blaschke founded ESTAYA Real Estate in Leipzig with a dual vision: to develop properties themselves and to broker them as estate agents. As part of the ESTAYA Group, with in-house software development, the company has been digitally driven from the outset.

2018–2020
Focus on our own projects
The initial phase centres on their own properties: the purchase and heritage-compliant renovation of the Handschuhfabrik (Waldenburger Straße 3) and the Kaiserliches Postamt (Moritzstraße 13) in Limbach-Oberfrohna. At times, up to 30 in-house construction staff – the estate agency is deliberately kept small at this stage.

The fully renovated, listed Kaiserliche Postamt at Moritzstraße 13 will be our headquarters in Limbach-Oberfrohna – serving as both an office and a showcase project.

Industrial area Chemnitz
With the acquisition of the former Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Research in Chemnitz, the third major project is added to the portfolio – an industrial site with around 16.000 m² of residential and commercial space on a 35.000 m² plot.

The estate agency becomes the core business
Deliberate shift in focus: From a six-person team, a strong estate agency is growing. With its own app, ERP system and monthly market dossiers, ESTAYA is becoming a digital, data-driven and transparent estate agent in Saxony.

Growth & new location in Leipzig
Today, ESTAYA is a team of around 17 people across sales, acquisition, administration and IT. In 2026, we will open a further office at our new location at Siemeringstraße 4 in Leipzig-Lindenau – and launch our video podcast "C the Market".
